I’ve tried 감자탕 (pork neck bone stew) at various Korean restaurants, but 이바돔 감자탕 has been the best experience so far. This place came highly recommended by a friend, and it absolutely lived up to the praise. We ordered the medium family-size 감자탕 전골 for a group of six, and it turned out to be more than enough. In fact, we had so much left over that we packed up two large to-go boxes at the end of the meal. The portion size was incredibly generous. What really stood out was the rich, flavorful broth—deep, hearty, and comforting—and the tender pork that came with a delicious dipping sauce. Every bite was satisfying, and the quality of the ingredients was clear. It was a wonderful meal that we all thoroughly enjoyed, and I would gladly return again.

Outstanding visuals with the Gamja-tang! It took a little effort to get the meat off the bones but they provided gloves. Service was amazing

I visited for lunch. The gamjatang price recently increased from $12.99 to $13.99. Portions are generous, and the side dishes are simple but delicious—especially the kimchi, which was very flavorful. However, the potatoes in the soup were extremely undercooked, and the rice was served before the soup arrived, so it had already cooled down by the time I ate it. On the bright side, the meat portions were great, and the servers were very kind and attentive.

This place is perfect for authentic Korean comfort food. The Fried Pork Cutlet was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, while the Mung Bean Pancake was also golden crispy. The Rose Sauce Roasted Pork Bones were creamy and savory, and the Spicy Roasted Pork Bones had just the right amount of heat. The Pork Neck Bones Stew was rich and full of tender meat. Also, you don't wanna miss the Steamed Cypress Combination Specials. The portions are generous, definitely coming back for more!

We went here originally for the dolsot bibimbap with matsutake mushrooms...it tastes very clean and fresh. Not the best thing in the world but the aroma from the shrooms enhances the dish. Gamjatang is nice but it's very hard to eat since its not the fall off the bone type. But the soup is very flavorful. Medium one can feed about 3 hungry people. We had both the goat and beef steam cypress which is my fave cuz they taste very clean and fresh. Goat is probably the best one out of the 2 cuz the beef one you gotta put the entire thing in your mouth. If you can't fit it, you might spit it. We also tried the spicy mixed goat meat dish with the buckwheat noodles and it was pretty good. Again, the veggies and everything tasted very fresh and clean... and not salty. I prefer bland than salty or it becomes inedible to me so I'm happy none of the dishes were salty.
